Current sensors and voltage sensors have been developed primarily for MV switchgears in substations.
This technology can be used in any type of secondary distribution gas insulated switchgear, compatibility with various types of separable cable connectors available in the market.
Very compact in size enables an easy and quick retrofit without any major changes in switchgears and in network infrastructure.
To equip with precision measurement technology.
To measure, monitor and detect earth fault or short circuit
Types
Low Power Current Transformer OR Current sensor.
Low Power Voltage Transformer OR Voltage sensor.
Low Power Combi-sensor.
Indoor Application
Outdoor Application
Current Sensor
Low power passive current transformers are used for measurement or protection or both measurement and protection.
Low power passive current transformers have analogue voltage output only. Depending on principle of operation, it is defined as derivative or proportional type LPCT.
Derivative low power passive current transformer providing an output signal proportional to derivative of input signal. It is based on non-magnetic-core coil technology without a built in integrator (Rogowski coils).
Proportional low power passive current transformer providing an output proportional to input signal. It is based on iron-core technology with a built in primary converter providing output voltage.
Voltage Sensor
Low power passive voltage transformers are used for measurement or protection or both measurement and protection.
Low power passive voltage transformers have analogue voltage output only. The secondary voltage of low power passive voltage transformer is proportional to primary voltage.
Principle of operation: Voltage divider comprising of resisters, inductors, capacitors or a combination of these components.
Indoor & Outdoor Combined Sensor
Combined unit for Voltage Sensor, Current Sensor and coupling electrode for Voltage Detection System.
Cable length as per customer requirement.
Output termination with Open end / BNC connector / RJ45.
